CE: Valentine heart

It was once again that time of the year and this time he had to get a present.
Talon the fox was standing in front of his girlfriend's frontdoor, counting the minutes he had already been standing there. He just couldn't get himself to knock.
The last few years he hadn't really cared about this special day, because it was for couples, but this year he had someone to get a present for...you ask what special day it could be?
It's Valentines day of course! The day of love where you give your girlfriend/boyfriend a present to show him/her your love.
And that's what Talon wanted to do, so he took one deep breath and knocked on the door...but nothing happened.
He knocked again and when still noone answered the door, the fox got worried. His girlfriend had been so excited about this day that she couldn't be still sleeping.
Maybe something happened?
Worried Talon opened the door. He looked around and after still not seeing his girl he began to panic.
He shouted her name and ran through the house. Suddenly he heard a voice, a familiar female voice.
"I am here. In the basement! Come down! I want to show you something!"
With relief Talon ran to the door leading into the basement and he nearly jumped the stairs down to it, but when he entered the basement his eyes grew wide and you were able to see that he was clearly shocked.
In front of him was standing a big heart made out of metal plates. Suddenly a head popped up behind the metalic heart. It was the head of his girlfriend, the pink Lynx Sonya.
"I am just finishing my present for you." She told him with a smile.
After she said that she jumped down to Talon and kissed him on the cheek then she grinned at him and got back to work on her present for him.
Talon once again looked at the heart and he could think only one thing.
'My present for her isn't as awesome anymore as it was before....'
